Getting Access to OwlConnect / Fundamentals

July 24th, 2018 by Kathy Meyer

WHAT TYPE OF ACCESS IS AVAILABLE?

  • New users that were not part of the initial rollout

Please download the linked access form. The form is also available here at the OwlConnect Service Center.  If you were not part of the initial rollout list, you will need manager approval before receiving a login to the OwlConnect training environment.

  • Approved New Users – Level 1: View Only Access

Upon completion of the Fundamentals of OwlConnect training, users will have view-only access to the CRM system.  Fundamentals includes:

1. Data Security Policy and Confidentiality Agreement

2. Self-Paced Parts I and II

For links and instructions for Fundamentals, please refer to this blog post with access instructions.

The first step is to register and complete the employee agreement, which is listed as the Data Security Policy and Confidentiality Agreement “course” in Canvas.

  • Approved New Users – Level 2: Functional Area Access

Users who have taken more advanced courses will have access to those specific functional areas once they have completed the curriculum for that topic.  Priority is given to current Millennium, Salesforce, and Flatbridge users who have transitioned to OwlConnect.  Please note that specific tracks may require a series of courses to be completed before add/edit access is granted.  For example, the events management curriculum requires Courses 1-4 to be completed before receiving events staff rights to the system.

Note:  For Fundamentals course credit, please ensure you clicked the “Next” button after you pass Quiz 10 in Fundamentals Part II and view the last module called “End of Course & Evaluation.”  Remember to complete the evaluation form!
